Wilton Militia Contact Information & Other Links

The Wilton Militia is part of the Wilton Historical Society. This Militia was organized in 2003 to recognize the historical significance of the early Wilton Militia of two hundred plus years ago. Through participation in public events such as battle reenactments, parades, and encampments the Wilton Militia has the goal of raising the general public's awareness and appreciation of the heritage handed down by the men who served in the early Wilton Militia.

- 5th Connecticut Regiment
- The original 5th Connecticut Regiment served throughout the American Revolution. In 1975 it was re-chartered as a honorary unit. The 5th Regiment takes part in battle reenactments and other events to preserve the rich heritage of the original 5th.
